I'm a mom, a recovering TV writer and a novelist. If my life was a TV show, it would be a wacky dramedy, full of eccentric adults, precocious kids, random ghosts and playful Dobes.

I studied Creative Writing at DePaul University. Then I transferred to Northwestern University, where I studied Creative Writing for the Media and Performance Studies. After graduation, I went to UCLA for their Professional Program in Writing.

I love writing about quirky characters in a world where the mundane and the supernatural overlap. My books have a lot of humor as well as supernatural suspense.
