Author Services

Becoming an indie author can be daunting, and there's a huge learning curve. I was one of the early adopters, so I've learned a lot along the way. If you need help, I offer the following services:

I format books (fiction only) using Vellum. Novels (up to 85,000 words) are $150. For that price, you get distributor-specific ebooks (Kindle, Nook, Kobo, GooglePlay, iBooks, D2D) with a clickable TOC, store-specific buy links to your other books, clickable social media links and a print book. If you have a book that's shorter than 40,000 words or longer than 85,000 words, a boxed set or a multi-author anthology, contact me for a quote. I typically don't handle graphics-heavy books.

I do developmental and copy editing for $0.02 a word. You get two passes on your manuscript: an overall pass for content (character, dialogue, plot, pace and flow) and a second pass for copy edits.

Consulting & Handholding

If you need advice on navigating the indie publishing world, from setting up distribution accounts to handling promotions, I offer phone and/or email consults on every aspect of being an indie author. If you're overwhelmed, and just need someone to step in and do some of the work for you, we can discuss that on a per case basis.
